Sensory Circuits

At West View Primary School, we have developed our understanding of children’s readiness to learn. We understand that some children take longer than others to be ready for the school day. Sensory circuits can be used as way of preparing children for learning. These structured, short movement sessions support regulation, focus and emotional wellbeing by giving children the sensory input that they need to feel calm, alert and ready for the classroom. Through activities that develop balance, coordination and body awareness, sensory circuits help children build confidence, improve attention and engage more successfully throughout the school day.

If you would like any more information about sensory circuits, you can contact Mrs Boagey, who is our school SENCO.
