Early Talk Boost
Early Talk Boost is a targeted programme designed for children aged 3 to 4 who require help with their talking and with understanding words. This programme aims to boost their language skills and bridge the gap between them and their peers.
Children selected for participation will attend three sessions each week, with each session lasting between 15 and 20 minutes. The sessions feature engaging activities that focus on speech, language and communication. Each session is delivered by a trained member of staff for groups of up to six children. Sessions take place over nine weeks.
Talk Boost Key Stage 1
Talk Boost Key Stage 1 is a targeted programme designed for children aged 4 to 7 who require support with their speaking, listening, and communication skills. The programme aims to develop children’s language and communication abilities, helping them to participate confidently in learning and social interactions while narrowing the gap between them and their peers.
Children selected for participation will attend three sessions each week, with each session lasting between 30 and 40 minutes. Children who are selected to take part in the programme will attend three sessions per week in small groups, each lasting 30-40 minutes delivered by a a trained staff member. The sessions include activities that cover the key elements of language: Attention and Listening, Vocabulary, Building Sentences, Telling Stories and ConversationsEach session is delivered by a trained member of staff to small groups of up to four children. Sessions take place over ten weeks.
